Last night, a bigot vandal wearing a mask and driving a motorized scooter stole every pride flag hanging in our neighborhood. We don’t have an official count but it was at least half a dozen, possibly 12 or more. It was a hate crime, but not enough to get the police to do anything.

On behalf of our neighborhood, we wish to replace every flag stolen and at-least-triple the number hanging in our neighborhood. We’ve priced it out, the $250 here will purchase two dozen 3x5-foot polyester Pride flags, as well as at least 100 small 6-12” flags people can stake in their yards and easily replace. Bigots have no place here, love will prevail. Show some solidarity and pitch in to replace some flags. ✊
