On New Year's Eve, my friend Chris Nixon and his three children lost everything when an arsonist set fire to a building connected to their flat on Mexborough High Street. They’ve lost their home, clothes, and even their Christmas presents. Chris is a devoted single father and a hard worker who is now facing homelessness.
