WE THE PEOPLE of Hereford Township object to the government 
overreach of our Township Supervisors and Ordinance 2021-1, 
already passed into law

The Ordinance states that Citizens must remove ALL TREES marked by the 
township within 30 days of receiving a written notice. 

We Take Issue With:

• Penalties for not removing trees including fines up to $1000 per day and 
 subject to liens against our properties

• 1700 trees have already been marked in the first 2 of 4 Quadrants

• Hundreds of thousands of dollars already priced to remove ~500 trees

• Massive financial burden on residents at a time of record inflation

• Graffiti style painted red X’s/dots vandalizing and devaluing our properties

• The Township/Arborist trespassing on our properties

• This ordinance is everlasting. It forever applies to any tree on your 
property, dead or alive, or by act of God 

Please say NO to the ordinance and join us in the fight
to have it repealed.
