Repairs to the silent solider statue - Thrapston
Donation protected
On the morning of Friday the 13th November - Thrapston woke up to the very saddening news that vandals had not only ripped flowers from flower baskets but worst than that had ripped the head off a statue of the silent solider that stood in our remembrance garden, a bespoke piece created by the British legion to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.
This heartless behaviour on a week when we remember those fallen, will cause thrapston to come back stronger as we look to create a new statue and replace the damage.
please donate whatever you can.
