Donate a Dollar for Workforce Housing
Tax deductible

Want to join us in making an investment in our community? We are raising money to benefit St. Columba Episcopal Church and its mission to help support the workers in our community. In 2018, following Hurricane Irma, this small church undertook the huge mission of purchasing the 4 dilapidated buildings and rehabilitated them, providing 16 units of truly affordable housing to the city of Marathon. In 2023, due to spalling, a balcony collapsed to the ground. Thankfully no one was injured, however to ensure safety, the tenants had to vacate. We were able to assist with moving expenses and refunded rent and security. After a full engineering and concrete assessment, the buildings were deemed safe and repairable. We feel that repairing the buildings and getting the 16 units rented again is a worthwhile investment in our community. Donate a dollar or more if you can to help us complete the necessary repairs and provide the community much needed affordable workforce housing. Any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to us.

We grow in faith, celebrate community and serve others as The Hands & Feet of Christ. At St. Columba we believe that by looking after the good of others and asking "How can I help", we bring alive the Gospel of Christ.
