I’m starting this fundraiser to support the Williamsburg Volunteer Fire Department in Williamsburg, Indiana. For about 7 days straight, these volunteers worked tirelessly pumping water out of people’s basements and helped save many homes in our community. While they were out there doing everything they could for others, two of their tanker trucks, Tanker #22 and Tanker #23, became non-operational. These are not just vehicles sitting in a garage. They are vital trucks our community depends on for fire protection and for responding to automobile accidents and other emergencies.
We would love to help the department get both trucks repaired and back in service as quickly as possible. The funds raised will go directly toward parts, labor, and repairs so these important vehicles can return to protecting Williamsburg and the surrounding area. I’m asking for your support because this department has already shown up for so many families when they needed help most. If you are able, please donate and share this fundraiser. Every bit of support will make a real difference for the firefighters who serve our community and for the neighbors who count on them in an emergency.
