Help Us Repair the Echo Lakes Homeowners’ Pier
Echo Lake is a place like no other. For generations, it’s been a place to enjoy nature, family, and friends. One of the most unique and essential features of Echo is that our cabins are accessed by boat—and at the center of it all is the homeowners’ pier.
Originally built in the 1930s and last repaired in the 1980s, the pier has served us well. It’s where weekends begin, where we unload bags and groceries, park the boat to grab ice cream at the chalet, and run into each other to catch up.
But time, weather, and wear have taken their toll. Now, it’s time to repair the pier to ensure it remains a strong, safe, and stable gateway to the Echo Lakes for generations to come.
Our Goal
The cost to repair the pier is approximately $350,000. This includes:
- Removing the old pier
- Pouring new concrete pads
- Repairing cribbing
- Replacing the deck, bumpers, and cleats on over 1,000 linear feet of dock
Construction will begin after Labor Day and continue through early November 2025.
The Echo Lakes Association has set aside reserves to cover almost half of the total cost. We’re reaching out to the Echo community to help raise the remaining funds.
How You Can Help
We’re encouraging each cabin to contribute at least $1,500 toward this essential capital improvement. If your family is in a position to give more—or if several families share a cabin—your added support would make a big difference.
Our goal is 100% participation from the Echo Lake cabin community.
But this effort isn’t just for homeowners. It’s for anyone who’s felt the magic of Echo Lake. If you’ve ever set foot on the pier, been picked up by boat, or simply soaked in the beauty of this special place, we invite you to help preserve that experience for future generations.
Any amount helps—and every gift brings us closer to our goal.
The homeowners’ pier is more than just a structure. It’s the gateway to the Echo Lakes, a symbol of connection, and the start of countless memories.
Repairing it is an investment in everything we love about this place.
Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign with others who know and love Echo Lake.
Thank you for being part of the Echo Lake story.
