South Florida has one of the highest rates of human trafficking in the country.
But behind every statistic is a person—someone’s friend, someone’s child—facing incredible challenges as they rebuild their lives after surviving trauma no one should endure.
That’s why I started RePact.
RePact is about more than just delivering backpacks; its about giving girls hope, letting them get the chance to reclaim their futures.. These backpacks contain essential items and small items of comfort which were chosen to meet real needs and help form a sense of stability and self-worth during an essential time of healing.
I was inspired to start RePact because through experience, I realized how easy it is for people, especially those without strong support systems, to fall through the cracks. It opened my eyes to see how human trafficking doesn’t just happen somewhere else or to someone else. It can happen in silence, in plain sight, especially to people who are just trying to survive. RePact was created from a want (which quickly turned into a need) to offer those survivors something grounding and compassionate as they begin to rebuild. While safety is the first priority, ongoing care and empowerment are vital for lasting recovery. I wanted to create something meaningful and practical that could directly impact these girls’ daily lives and remind them that they are valued and supported by their community.
Every donation helps us provide these care packages to survivors right here in South Florida, offering not only supplies but also encouragement and connection. Your support makes it possible to meet urgent needs and help rewrite the story for girls rebuilding their lives.
Together, we can make a real difference... one backpack, one girl, one step at a time.
Each backpack is $25
