Since opening it’s door in November 2020, The Nitecap has served as a beacon of laughter, connection, and most importantly community. Born out of a passion for comedy and a dedication to providing a safe space for both comics and audiences during the challenging pandemic era, The Nitecap has truly grown to be staple in the LA comedy scene.

Lauded by The LA Times as “one of the best places to see comedy in Los Angeles", this place has resonated with comedy enthusiasts, performers, and anyone looking for laughter when, lets face it, the last few years haven’t given us much to laugh about.

To quote comedian Bill Posley “This place is dope, it’s really special, and I’m honored to call it my home club.”

However, the unforeseen events of October 2023 have force the club to close it’s doors. A burst pipe above the club unleashed a torrent of water, flooding our beloved showroom, and causing extensive damages. While insurance covers a portion of the repairs, the equipment loss and significant financial setbacks faced by the devoted owner, Aaron Mliner, remain challenges that needs to be addressed.
