Re-Open Luv Handles

With the blessing of Ms. Holcomb, owner of Luv Handles in (Bronzeville) Chicago, Il , I am starting this campaign to help her re-open her doors after suffering loss from both COVID-19 and looting in the area.  

I saw Ms. Holcomb's story on the news  and like many right now, I felt a call to action.

Ms. Holcomb was a new business owner, she took the risk and leap of faith to entrepreneurship.  Then COVID-19 hit and she had to close her doors.  Just as she was preparing to open, her business was destroyed when a fire was set in the building next to hers.  She now has to start fresh...all of her investment...gone!

I am asking for this donation because I want to do more than talk and march. I want to do something to build back my city, help small business owners, and help my fellow Black brothers and sisters. I am asking for this donation because I want to provide a place where others can do the same.  I have never done anything like this and I was nervous to take the lead, but I am asking all my friends and family to support this cause.  After speaking to Ms. Holcomb, I knew with even more conviction that I wanted to find a way to bring her joy and dreams back...so I am starting this GoFundMe.
