My name is Tiara I’m 20 years old residing in Montgomery County Maryland. Due to the pandemic I instantly became unemployed, reaching out to the resources I was knowledgeable of in Maryland for assistance, I was sadly disappointed to be informed that I was either ineligible or I had missed my opportunity to receive them. This past March I turned 20, four days before my birthday I received information that changed my life, I now have HIV.

I completely fell into a dark space, developed severe depression, and even closed myself in and shut out family. I for a few months now have been relying on the help of family, performance art, and competing in competitions for money.

I Have a goal of $7,000, that way I can pay off my utilities and rent for the rest of the year and pay off the months missed and high priced fees that they have charged me with.
