Help for Hospitalized Single Mom

January update - thank you so much to everyone who has donated! Your support has covered immediate rent needs as well as unexpected travel expenses which came up when her son was re-hospitalized. The family is continuing to struggle through physically, emotionally, and financially. Any continuing support is very much appreciated! 

A mom who gave her all to my school community as an amazing art volunteer has had a tough few months. She recently became a single mom, and shortly afterward she and her teenage son were both hospitalized. They are both out of the hospital now and getting care. (And thanks to the local Buy Nothing group, Christmas presents are covered!) But during this time, she's lost a lot of work hours and her funds are depleted. Meanwhile, she especially needs some help with January's rent ($1300) and ongoing medical care ($400/month). Please help them start off the new year on steady footing!
