This fundraiser is to offer temporary help to a single-mom, combat veteran (Iraq), trauma survivor who cannot make August rent due to loss of income as an events photographer due to COVID-19. She's a very hard working woman who has survived trauma and homelessness to provide for her two children, one of whom also has special education needs. Due to the re-closing of many public spaces, events that had been scheduled allowing her to hope she was back on the income track have been cancelled. Her kids have packed their belongings in preparation for vacating if they can't make the August rent.
The Veterans service has a long waiting list (she's on it), so we can't count on assistance right now. This is to cover the August shortfall, the next several months, and groceries. Please help them if you can. If a lot of people give a little, it can really help! Thank you!!
