Griff’s Nest - Renovating homes for those with disabilities

Hi, my name is Brian and I’m Griff’s dad. In Griff’s 8 years so far with us, he’s fought harder and has been stronger than anyone I’ve ever known. He’s had dozens of surgeries, and he has alot more ahead. I’m not worried about him though…he’s always ready for a fight.

There’s so many people and things that he’s been an inspiration to, but one of those things is that he inspired me to start a non profit that will help those within the disabled community. He opened my eyes to a world I never knew. It’s a world of really beautiful people that are stronger than most of us, but they need some help, mainly regarding their homes and living conditions. And believe me, the need is enormous!

Griff’s Nest will help to assess their needs, raise funding, and then hire local contractors to renovate and remodel their homes accordingly.

If we can bring beauty, love, and better function to their homes, then we’ll be completing our mission and vision.

This initial fundraiser is to help with startup costs, i.e. website development, marketing, planning our first fundraising event, and hopefully completing our first project for one of our clients this year. I wish everything donated could go directly to construction projects for these amazing people, but creating a good base will help us help more people as we move forward.
