Renovating ClearWater Academy's Playground
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Robert Niedermeyer, a Boy Scout, and I'm currently working on my Eagle Scout service project which will benefit my local community. For my project, I'm renovating the outdoor playground at ClearWater Academy, a non-profit school for special needs children near Atlanta. Specifically, I'll be replacing the playground's thinning mulch to ensure a safe outdoor space for ClearWater's students, replacing the rotting railroad ties that border the playground, and adding a new balance beam for the students to help develop and improve balance, coordination, and gravitational insecurities. As a non-profit organization, ClearWater Academy doesn't have much in the way of spare funds for big-ticket projects such as this, so they need our help. Spaces such as this playground are used by ClearWater for recreational and occupational therapy to help their students lead normal, happy, and productive lives, so it's important to make sure that they can get the best possible experience there. ClearWater Academy (and I as well) are exceedingly grateful for any support that you will be willing to give, and we extend to you our dearest thanks for helping the students on their journey to adulthood.
