Renew the Norwich Public Library's Water Fountain

Edie Rojansky's Mitzvah Project:

For my Mitzvah project I am working to raise funds for the Norwich Public Library. The idea came to me one afternoon when I was really thirsty at the library. I went around trying to find a water fountain and when I finally did, it didn't look like something I wanted drink from because it was old and slightly moldy. Later, I spoke to the children's librarian and she told me that whenever someone had asked her where they could fill up their water bottles or get a drink, she brought them to the sink in the back room so that they wouldn't use the water fountain. I realized that this was a big problem that needed to be solved soon. It was then that I knew what my Mitzvah project was going to be.

I am going to raise funds for a new water fountain for NPL, and, if I raise enough money, some additional books for their teen section. NPL is a building used by the entire Norwich community, and I want to help preserve it for generations to come. I will be holding bake sales and other fundraisers, and contributions of any kind through my Go Fund Me page are always welcome. Every little bit brings us one step closer to a happier, healthier community building.

Funds submitted through this page will go directly to the Norwich Public Library Association.
