Renee's Legacy: Fund for Her Children's Future

We, the sports community of Newtown, are honoring a beloved mother, friend, wife, and sports fan, Renee Lovett. Renee passed suddenly this week after a courageous battle with cancer. While she is at peace with the angels, her husband, Diarmuid, and two children- Riley & Shane - are here, in our community, coping with an immeasurable loss.

Renee loved watching her children play and compete - wrestling, hockey, basketball, lacrosse, and football. She wanted to make sure her children were taken care of and they felt her love, so we are establishing a scholarship fund for Shane and Riley to use as needed in their future. All proceeds go directly to the Lovett family.

Please help us show the Lovetts what our Newtown family and community is all about and that we are here to support them with whatever they may need or face going forward. Renee was an amazing woman, mom, friend, and wife. We honor her today and always.
