Hello everyone , my name is Cassandra. This go fund me is being started because my sons father Rene Macias got into an accident. He is a great father to two young children Giovanni and Avianna . A treasured son, grandson, a protective brother, nephew, boyfriend, my best friend as well as many others. On Thursday Sep ,21 2023 he was working his job as a semi truck driver, he was out of his truck doing his job when his truck started to roll. Rene saw the truck moving in the direction of an apartment building and he rushed to try to get into the moving truck to prevent anyone getting hurt. When Rene attempted to do this he was crushed and pinned in between the truck and a wall. He was taken to the hospital eventually when they located him. Both his legs crushed bones in crumbles. The right leg had a bone that lodged into the right artery. We believed that after many attempts they had saved his legs, but they will be taking his right leg. The doctors are using blood flow from the right to try and save the left at this time. Please pray that what they are doing will work! If they can not get the left to recover then in a couple weeks they will be taking both legs. I am asking for help to take care of his daughter and just all of the expenses that come up to take care of Avianna until he can get things sorted out with the company he was working for when this tragic accident happened. Rene will have to undergo many more surgeries, treatments and will have to be in the hospital for many more weeks maybe even months. The funds will go directly to his parents that will make sure the things that need to be paid will be. Rene is in a lot of pain and stress about being away from his kids and worried about how the things they need will be taken care of. Anyone who knows him can tell you he has always been an unbelievably hard worker. Anything will help and is greatly appreciated.
