Help us help Renata, Maya and Maddison

Hi, I'm Chris (upper right in white, in photo.) My wife Yana and I are a leading part of a local house church in the Holly Oaks lake district in Jacksonville Florida. We met Renata (upper left in photo) and her 2 girls, Maya (lower left in photo) and Maddison (girl in lower right in photo) while sharing the gospel in a park. It became clear to us as we listened to Renata tell her story (continue reading below), that we could not pass up the opportunity to help this family. 100% of your donations received through GoFundMe, will go to help this hurting precious family rebuild their lives.

The donations received will help Renata and her girls (who are very unsettled due to years of trauma and their current living situation) find a permanent and safe place to live. Also toward a small storage unit (to temporarily keep the only items they recovered from their apartment) until they have their own place. And also toward the purchase of a reliable vehicle.

We believe in good stewardship, and are careful with our resources to only financially support truly needy people and people willing to work if they have the ability. This is Renata. My wife Yana is actively working with her on her resume and we are doing our best to help her find work.

How we met this family was unplanned. Yana and I stopped by a park for our 3 year old boy Jedidiah (bottom/center in photo) to get some fun in. We noticed a lady that was in distress talking on a phone while her girls Maya and Maddison were distracted with the playground amusements. Yana asked her if she was okay, but she obviously was not. Renata shared with my wife Yana how Renata and her 2 girls were forced to take cover in a womens shelter after Renata's husband was arrested and put in jail. This happened emediately after moving from their home town New Jersey, to Bartram Springs Park area in Jacksonville Florida early this year. The prior years of trauma was very apparent when we spoke to her girls and prayed with them. Renata, being a stay at home mom, was left without work, bankruptcy (from her husbands financial decisions), the inability to pay rent, and also to make their leased car payments. To make things worse, and although a blessing, the shelter they are in is not the best environment for Renata's girls. They have exceeded their allotted stay time there and have been warned they may be forced to leave at any moment. They need urgent help before their situation spirals into something worse. So we, with Jesus hand and yours, are reaching out to theirs. Lets together, lift these girls up, for them, and Gods glory!

Update: Renata now has a bank account thanks to our friends Josh and Ameris Bank. So all donations recieved will go straight into Renata's account!

We greatly appreciate any financial help for them. If there's any quiestions, feel free to call us. Thank you so much;

Chris and Yana Fitzhugh
