Rena's 'Help send me to teach hair cutting in Guatemala!'

Hi my name is Rena Lang, last year I was fortunate enough to travel to Guatemala and teach hair cutting skills to community members with Hair aid to give them the ability to support themselves and their families. This year I am returning to Guatemala to continue to educate and share the skill of haircutting that I have been so blessed to have. The participants that come are so eager to learn. Hair Aid is a project from Australia that travels world-wide teaching basic haircutting to undeveloped countries, leaving them with the skills and tools needed to begin their own mini business. I have always felt blessed to be a hairstylist and now an educator in an industry I love. Myself and my colleague Sofia Nicholas from Georgian College, along with two students need to raise $4000.00 each to join the Hair Aid team. All monies raised will go to cover flight and accommodations as well tools purchased for the future hairstylist. This project is one that is very dear to me and I would appreciate any donations you can spare, every little bit helps.
