REMISE EN ÉTAT DE LA MAISON DE MAMAN

Octobre est un mois chargé d’émotions pour moi. Comme vous le savez, c’est le mois du dépistage du cancer du sein, une maladie qui a emporté ma maman il y a maintenant trois ans. En ce mois spécial, je célèbre également mon anniversaire. Chaque année, j'avais l'habitude de faire une cagnotte reversée à la recherche pour le cancer, mais cette année, je souhaite en faire une occasion de rassembler notre communauté autour d’un projet qui me tient à cœur.

 

Souvenez-vous qu’après son décès, j'ai récupéré la procédure d’expulsion et me suis battue pour que son ‘squatteur’ quitte le logement, avec une dette s’élevant déjà à 11 500€, à laquelle s’ajoutera encore 6 mois d’impayés. L’affaire avait fait scandale suite au refus de l’expulsion après déjà une procédure en cours depuis un long moment et moi-même me retrouvant sans domicile, à être hébergée chez des amis, que je ne remercierai d’ailleurs jamais assez.

 

À la suite de ça, j’ai ressenti le besoin de tourner une page et ai décidé de tout quitter pour me ressourcer ailleurs. Je suis partie travailler un an et demi au Népal, où j’ai guéri du décès de ma mère, mais aussi de l’injustice ressentie à notre égard. Le locataire a été expulsé à la fin de la trêve hivernale, j’étais déjà partie.

 

Aujourd’hui, je suis rentrée avec de nouveaux projets et je veux enfin redonner vie à la maison dans laquelle j’ai grandi. Malheureusement, la maison est dans un état lamentable, non seulement à cause de la saleté, mais aussi en raison de l’odeur due à la vingtaine de chats qui erraient à l’intérieur. L’odeur est imprégnée et tout doit être remplacé. J'aimerais alors rénover la maison mais je dois tout renouveler : une nouvelle cuisine, une salle de bain à refaire, des chauffages, un parquet dans la chambre, des fenêtres, du mobilier, une façade à repeindre…

 

Je n'ai reçu aucune aide de l’État malgré la situation, sa responsabilité et la médiatisation de notre affaire. Les frais de procédure d’expulsion sont restés à ma charge, et je me tourne vers vous aujourd'hui pour ce projet

 

Alors si vous souhaitez me faire plaisir pour mon anniversaire, je vous demande de m’aider à participer à la remise en état cette maison qui symbolise tant de souvenirs et d’amour. Chaque don, même modeste, sera une contribution précieuse pour redonner vie à cet espace où je garde mes meilleurs souvenirs avec maman.

Dear friends and community,

October is an emotional month for me. As you know, it's breast cancer awareness month, a disease that took my mum's life three years ago. This special month also marks my birthday. Every year, I used to set up a fund to donate to cancer research, but this year I want to use it as an opportunity to bring our community together around a project that's close to my heart.

Remember that after her death, I took over the eviction proceedings and fought to ensure that her ‘squatter’ left the house, with a debt already totalling €11,500, to which would be added another 6 months of unpaid rent. The affair caused a scandal when the eviction was refused, after proceedings had already been in progress for a long time, and I myself found myself without a home, staying with friends, whom I can never thank enough.

After that, I felt the need to turn over another chapter and decided to leave everything behind to recharge my batteries elsewhere. I left to work in Nepal for a year and a half, where I came to terms with the death of my mother and the injustice done to us. The tenant was evicted at the end of the winter break, and I had already left.

Today, I'm back with new plans and I want to finally breathe new life into the house I grew up in. Unfortunately, the house is in a terrible state, not only because of the dirt, but also because of the smell from the twenty or so cats that were roaming around inside. The smell is permeating and everything has to be replaced. I'd like to renovate the house, but I have to replace everything: a new kitchen, a bathroom to be redone, heating, parquet flooring in the bedroom, windows, furniture, a facade to be repainted, etc.

I haven't received any help from the government, despite the situation, its responsibility and the media coverage of our case. The costs of the eviction proceedings have been borne by me, and I'm now turning to you for help with this project.

So if you want to make me happy for my birthday, I'm asking you to help me restore this house, which symbolises so many memories and so much love. Every donation, no matter how small, will be a precious contribution to bringing back to life this place where I keep my fondest memories with Mum.

I think she would be proud of me and would thank you for all the love you have given me during this difficult time.
