Hello hello! My name is Remi (he/him) and I’ve finally worked up the courage to ask for this life changing surgery. I’m a neurodivergent, working-class trans man and this would take me many years to save up on my own. Unfortunately I do not have any family support and also just come from poverty. Turning to my community is not easy, but it’s my only choice.

I cannot overstate how much this would improve my life. Existing in this body can be extremely challenging at the best of times. I just want to do normal things without this very troublesome flesh.

I wish trans people in the UK didn’t have to go through private healthcare for a reasonable surgery timeline. NHS waiting lists are ridiculous and gender affirming health care should be available for everyone.
