Well, it's that time of year again and Kinsale's very own Tree of Remembrance is up, in Short Quay, waiting for your ribbons and donations.

Please feel free to bring your own ribbons, with the name of your loved ones written in permanent marker and put them in one of the post boxes at the tree. The ribbon will be put up on the tree for you.

Ribbons are available from Footloose, The Gallery and Wild and Tame Coffee Shop.

All donations for the ribbon service will go directly to Kinsale Lions Club who support and assist local charities and voluntary organizations who are struggling.

Poverty in Kinsale has not gone away. Please give what you can.
