Remembrance of Crystal DeJesus
Donation protected
On Sunday October 3rd 2021, the world lost the brightest light any of us has ever known. Crystal Rose DeJesus(b. April 16th, 1987) lost her battle with a recently diagnosed illness.
Her mischievousness, her voice and her kind soul made her an immediate friend to anyone that met her. If you were fortunate enough to have met Crystal, you would have known her from her smile alone. The love she had for the people in her life was unparalleled. We are better for meeting her and at a huge loss now that she is gone. Throughout her life and her travels, she touched the lives of so many and ensured that no one was ever wanting for a friend.
Throughout those travels Crystal & Dillon have always loved the animals that make us better people, and have adopted several rescue dogs once they settled back in their native state of Colorado.
This event is in hope we can continue Crystal's legacy of loving all things. We have chosen Rescues Rescuing Veterans as the first recipient of what we hope to be an annual event.
On October 26th 2022 we want to invite you to join us to celebrate & raise funds for this amazing organization. We will have Live Music, Food, Refreshments, & Community Love.
Over 22 veterans a day are lost to suicide, which is now the leading cause of death in the military, surpassing war. Over 4,000 dogs are put to sleep in shelters, ever day. Rescue Rescuing Veterans (RRV) program is trying to bridge the gap by exclusively placing rescued dogs as companion dogs to help our veterans overcome the daily struggle of PTSD and depression. We aim to raise awareness to 22 Until None, a non-profit organization that assists in ending veteran suicide.
RRV program is a registered 501(c)(3) tax deductible organization that uses donations to help pay for approved Veterans’ dogs and vetting costs. The aim is that a veteran can obtain a potential service or emotional support animal at no cost. Each Veteran applying through the program is asked to provide proper documentation to verify eligibility.
Applicants for the RRV program must be both approved by our Director of Veteran Services, as well as a general adoption application approval process. RRV graduates will receive lifetime free daycare, and discounted boarding at The Dog Ranch
