In Loving Memory of Sherin Abraham

Sherin Abraham was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished daughter and sister, and a compassionate nurse who dedicated her life to caring for others. At just 43 years of age, Sherin’s sudden and untimely passing has left her family, friends, and colleagues in deep shock and deep grief.

Originally from India, Sherin chose nursing as her calling. She worked across India, Dubai, and Ireland, always bringing comfort, dignity, and kindness to those in her care. Most recently, she was a valued member of the team at Esker Rí Nursing Home, where colleagues remember her dedication, professionalism, and her constant warm smile.

Sherin provided exceptional care to her residents. She treated every person with empathy, patience, and respect. She gave her whole heart to her work. Her absence is deeply felt by those who worked beside her and by the residents she cared for.

A few years ago, Sherin faced a life-threatening medical condition. With courage and determination, she fought through it and survived. She came back stronger and chose to move to Ireland to build a better future for her family. She worked hard to create stability and opportunity for her husband and children.

Sherin leaves behind her heartbroken husband, Sonu Thomas, their two young children, her loving mother, her siblings, and many friends and colleagues who are struggling to accept this sudden loss.

Purpose of This Fundraiser

This GoFundMe campaign is organised for Sonu Thomas, Sherin’s husband, to support him and the children during this difficult time.

The fundraiser is being organised by Bibin Joseph, Sherin’s cousin and colleague.

For transparency:

The funds raised through GoFundMe will be transferred to Bibin Joseph’s account.

Bibin will then make a full lodgment of the funds to Sonu Thomas’s bank account in India.

The funds will be used to support Sherin’s husband and children with immediate and future financial needs.

As we remember Sherin’s life — marked by courage, kindness, and service — we ask for your support. Your contribution will help ease the financial burden on her family and give them space to grieve and begin healing.
