Forever Twenty-Five - Remembering Sav and Supporting Lachie After the Loss of his wife
Our hearts are broken following the devastating loss of our beautiful Savannah.
Savannah was one of those rare people who made life feel lighter just by being in it. Born and raised on the Gold Coast, she carried that easy-going warmth everywhere she went. She was down to earth, effortlessly funny, endlessly charismatic, and the kind of person whose beauty went far beyond what you could see. She made people feel welcome, valued, and loved, often without even realising the impact she had.
Sav and Lachie had been together since 2017 and were approaching their second wedding anniversary at the end of this month. Together they built a beautiful life, living in Sydney, the Gold Coast, and most recently the Northern Beaches of Cairns with their two beloved dogs, Hazel and Marley. They had recently fulfilled a lifelong dream of building their very first home together - a home filled with love, laughter, and plans for the future.
No one could have imagined that their beautiful journey together would be cut so tragically short.
As Lachie faces the unimaginable heartbreak of losing the love of his life, we want to give him the gift of time. As a self-employed carpenter, he doesn't have the security of paid leave. Our hope is to ease the financial burden of the mortgage and everyday living expenses, allowing him the time and space to grieve while surrounded by family and friends.
So many people have reached out asking how they can help. This GoFundMe is a way for family, friends, and the wider community to support Lachie in a practical and meaningful way during the hardest time of his life.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward helping Lachie navigate the months ahead. If you're unable to donate, sharing this page and keeping him in your thoughts means just as much.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Savannah was deeply loved, and she will be forever remembered.
