Matthew Lee's life was tragically cut short due to gun violence—an unimaginable loss for all who knew and loved him. A proud graduate of South Saint Paul High School and a dedicated student-athlete at St. Olaf College, Matthew had a bright future ahead of him. His passion for football was only matched by his kind heart and unwavering love for his family and friends.

Matthew was not only a devoted son to his beautiful and strong mother, but also a protective and loving older brother. His presence lit up every room, and his care for others left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Matthew did not deserve to die. His life mattered. His dreams mattered. And the love he gave so freely will never be forgotten.

We honor Matthew’s memory by carrying forward the love, strength, and hope he shared during his time with us.
