Greg Smith was a true friend to all he met. Kind, gentle, and generous, he always made everyone around him happy. He actively pursued several hobbies revolving around his love for cars. Hot Wheels, drag racing, car shows, etc. Greg also put his all into his job distributing the Chicago Tribune, working long, hard hours. He graduated from John Hersey High School in 1980. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Val, his dad, Warren, and his mom, Bea. My purpose for this fundraiser is to pay for a proper memorial, service, cremation, burial, or whatever is decided by either the state, a distant relative, or possibly with our input as well. Any support, whether financial, emotional, or input regarding the best way to further this effort is more than appreciated.
