Remembering Florencia, Liliana, and Miguel

Donation protected
My name is Mateo Cristian and I’m a 20 year old in SE Portland, OR. On September 6th I lost my mother, sister and brother. I had come home from work and found my family in our home. It has been so difficult dealing with three losses and while grieving with this tragic event I am having to handle funeral arrangements, family bills, our house mortgage and more.

I am starting this gofund me for myself to get support financially, I am having to face the harsh reality of planning the funeral. I was working part time prior and unfortunately I don't have much savings to help me in this time.

My mother Florencia was 48, she loved nature and was very spiritual. Crystals, manifesting, the works. She was born in Michoacan and grew up in California before moving to Oregon in her early twenties. She loved our family with all of her heart. She had a huge passion for gardening, spending a lot of her time outside. She wasn't afraid of getting dirty. She had always done everything with her family on top and I was so glad to start seeing her do more things for herself. She spent her last days writing in her journal in our garden, preparing her daughter for school, playing board games with her partner and Lily.

My sister Liliana was 10, she had so much more to see and grow. She loved cats and watching movies with her mom, personal time with all of our family. She had a strong bond with her dad. She loved school so much, she has so many books in our home and was constantly making her own little d.i.y. books and comics. She loved all types of music, getting a variety of favorite songs from each family member. She was a mini-me, into all of my baggy clothes and everytime I would have a bag full of donations to send away she would run to see what she could snag. She was a beautiful soul and was so loved by her classmates and everyone around her. She spent her last days excited about school, perfecting what outfit she was going to wear, adventures with her dad, drinking a matcha chiller, snuggling up with our mom and cat watching movies before bed.

My brother Miguel was 22, he had a passion for all types of tea and was into nature as well. He spent a lot of his last days on hikes, camping outside, walks with our dad. He was interested in cooking and trying all types of unique ingredients I had never heard of before. We didn’t have the best relationship growing up as fighting brothers, but the last few years we bonded and got to be at peace with each other. He would invite me and my family to try all his cooking and the unique ingredients he found. He would talk to my mother about growing mint and all types of herbs. He loved wrestling with Lily and showing her all of his teas and having mini tea parties. He was very to himself, minimal, not a lot of personal items but lots of love for his family.

There is no specific goal for this GoFundMe, as the needs are still coming up as I get more into my familys expenses. Which is why the goal may fluctuate.
Thank you for getting to know a bit about my family. Sharing this link and donations are greatly appreciated.
