Help Us Honor Daniella and Support Her Family
On May 16th, our world lost a light that shone brighter than most. Daniella—known lovingly as Ella—was only 22, but she carried a wisdom, kindness, and faith that felt timeless. For the past 20 years, it was just Ella and her mother, the two of them side by side through life’s joys and challenges. Two years ago, their world grew when little Priya was born, and Ella embraced the role of big sister with the same tenderness and grace she gave to everyone she met.
Ella had a rare and beautiful gift: she made people feel seen, valued, and loved. She was the friend who noticed when you were having a hard day and stayed just a little longer to make sure you smiled. She was the daughter who lifted her mother’s spirits when life felt heavy, and the sister who dreamed of all the possibilities the future could hold for Priya. She lived by a simple but profound rule: “Water the flowers around you, and they’ll bloom.”
Ella poured herself into her community—volunteering at church, leading prayers and sharing words of encouragement with those who needed hope. She kept care packages in the trunk of her car to hand out to people experiencing homelessness. She believed deeply in kindness, in showing up for others, and in spreading love even when her own heart was carrying silent burdens. She gave so much of herself without ever asking for anything in return.
Losing her has left her family and friends heartbroken. Her mother and baby sister Priya are now facing not only the unimaginable grief of her absence, but also the weight of honoring her life in a way that reflects the light she gave so freely to others. They are trying to plan a dignified farewell while also simply surviving each day without her.
That’s why we’re reaching out—because no family should have to face this kind of sorrow alone. Every dollar raised will go directly to Daniella’s mother to help cover memorial costs and to offer some relief as she focuses on caring for Priya and finding a way forward without her firstborn daughter by her side.
More than anything, we want to make sure Daniella’s legacy—the kindness, faith, and love she so effortlessly shared—lives on. Your donation, your prayers, and your willingness to share this story will help her family feel the same support she so often gave to others.
Daniella was forever 22. Forever the one who showed up for others. Forever the heart of her family. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and for helping us honor the beautiful life of Daniella.
With love and gratitude,
