Dupri was a bright light in all of our lives, known for his infectious laughter and his playful spirit, which often manifested in his constant need to roast just about anyone he met. Tragedy had already touched Dupri and his family deeply. His father lost his life at a young age. It was often remarked how much Dupri resembled his father; in many ways, they were like twins. He also mourned the loss of his cherished granny and auntie, both of whom loved him immeasurably.

They are now facing the heartbreaking reality of losing not only their father and their grandmother, but now their big brother, too. The void he leaves in their lives is immense, and the pain they are enduring is unimaginable.
