My name is Jessica and as many of you are aware, my dear friend Karen Cinnamond is mourning the tragic and sudden passing of her only son, Carson Cinnamond. In his all too brief twenty-one years with us, Carson touched everyone he met with his beautiful smile and kind eyes. He was known to be the best hugger and truly made you feel like the most important person in the room. If you have ever spoken to Karen, she will quickly find her way around to telling you about her beautiful son and sweet daughter, Anne.

While another go-fund-me was set up for Carson's dad for his bills and Carson's personal matters, Karen and her family have put their limited money together to pay toward Carson's funeral service, church, memorial, food, and more. Karen is self-employed and will not get paid for the two-plus weeks she has been out for this tragedy, plus travel expenses from east North Carolina. Few of us would be prepared to face such a tragedy, let alone the resulting financial weight - we just do what has to be done and deal with that weight when the fog lifts a bit.
