Raffaelle
To all our extended Bagatelle Family of Friends, Clients and devoted Team members,
We all were struck with tragic news this October 31st 2019, early evening, when we learned about the passing of our Miami venue leader, Raffaelle Mitrugno. He was killed in a motorcycle accident in circumstances we don’t yet completely understand.
Raffaelle was a very promising member of our team with a bright future, fruit of his true love for Hospitality, Team building, Leadership and, most of all, an undying passion for oenology that made every instant spent discussing Wines with him a true delight.
However, Raffaelle’s main role wasn’t one of a General Manager. He was first and foremost a loving Husband to his wife Maria and a wonderful father to his two boys, Massimo (8 years old and Matteo (15 months old).
At Bagatelle we pride ourselves with our dedication to our craft, our team mates, and most of all, our customers. We created, in that spirit, a true family feel surrounding the brand. Today, we call on this spirit to unite and make a difference in the shattered lives of Maria, Massimo and Matteo.
We wish to raise funds for them amongst our friends and family to be able to open a college fund for these two boys (Raffaelle’s dream was to see them go to Boston College) and to support Maria in her daily life that will now be more challenging without her husband.
We are grateful to have crossed paths with Raffaelle that leaves behind him only great memories and a lot of passion. We are counting on all of you to help reach our goal and honor him.
Thank you
