Alan Deitz, a billiard icon of the French Quarter, passed on May 29, 2025. We are raising money to pay for funeral and other related expenses. He has no family close that can take care of arrangements. He was a beloved character in the Quarter and played on many pool leagues during his long pool career. He was a good friend to all that knew him, a sweet personality, but never spoke much about his military service. He was a veteran, having served as a communications specialist for 2 years. He was awarded several honors, including the National Defense Service Medal.

We are making arrangements with Bagnell & Sons and are trying to find a way to have him buried with honors. Any help would be appreciated.
