<div><strong>Alan Deitz, a billiard icon of the French Quarter, passed on May 29, 2025.</strong> We are raising money to pay for funeral and other related expenses. He has no family close that can take care of arrangements. He was a beloved character in the Quarter and played on many pool leagues during his long pool career. He was a good friend to all that knew him, a sweet personality, but never spoke much about his military service. He was a veteran, having served as a communications specialist for 2 years. He was awarded several honors, including the National Defense Service Medal.
