It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of Alaka’i — a loving husband, devoted father, and the heart of his family. His loss has left behind his wife, Naomi, and their two young sons, Kia’i and La’i, whose lives have been forever changed in an instant.

Alaka’i brought smiles and laughter to the many people who were blessed to know him. Quick with a joke and a smile, he was a local boy through and through. Alaka’i was a carpenter by trade, but his most important job and greatest source of pride was being a dad to his two amazing boys. He loved watching Kia’i play soccer and proudly helped coach his baseball and basketball teams.
