Remember Gary Support Bronwyn Sisco

Donation protected
Update: The team behind "Remember Gary / Support Bronwyn Sisco is enormously grateful for the donations to this campaign. Gary has been cremated and his ashes delivered to Bronwyn. Remaining funds, as specified, have been and are still being forwarded to Bronwyn's care givers and support people.

PLEASE NOTE: There is a new campaign, link below, related to Bronwyn's wishes to be transferred from Kentucky to Vermont for skilled nursing care where she will be surrounded by long-time friends and her family dog, ShyGirl.

For those of you who knew and loved Gary Sisco, you know the situation with Bronwyn, so be generous and remember this is the number one thing Sisco would want everyone to do in the event of his death.

Designated beneficiary Jaymie Sawyer (Tanya Hyde), along with her spouse Nick Velvet, Gary's long-time bro, are handling management of funds for the cremation of Gary and for Bronwyn and her care providers. This is an extremely fragile, transitional time for Bronwyn now she's without Gary. There are major concerns in multiple directions.  Your donations support the team of friends working around the clock to ensure that critical expenses for Bronwyn's care are being directed quickly and properly. Thank you!!

Gary, June 1954-September 2020, was a dedicated partner of 27 years to Bronwyn. Gary was a native Vermonter who served in the Coast Guard and was stationed on Iwo Jima in the 1970s. Back in civilian life, he toured nationally as a singer and guitar player with east and west coast bands. In the 1980s he worked tirelessly as an activist sending material aid to war-torn Nicaragua and El Salvador after which he managed a city-wide homeless shelter. More recently, he has been an outspoken supporter of democratic con-federalism including the Kurdish Rojava in Syria.  Inspired by his beloved Bronwyn, Gary bred and maintained top tier horses in Vermont. He was a voracious reader of several literary genres, maintained a life-long connection with and scholarly knowledge of jazz, and even became ensconced in the Lexington heavy metal scene.  All who knew Gary Sisco, a one-of-a-kind human being, will forever think of him most for having, without fail, the courage of his convictions.
