My name is Kayla Love from Oakland, CA. I am a first-generation Biochemistry Researcher, currently completing my P.h.D in biochemistry at the University of Southern California (USC) here in Los Angeles. My child's father is Khari Jones Jr, founder of Motivated Purpose Network and a contributing writer for the LA Sentinel. We are currently unable to return to our home safely.

We are raising money for the cost of relocating and legal action against all parties involved in multiple unethical wellness checks. On June 27th 2021, we denied service at LA County USC Medical Center in preference of our own private physician, after an unexpected home birth. As a result, a medical staff member called a social worker, who arrived at our home with 10+ officers, guns drawn at me, my child’s father and our baby Fari Love-Jones, endangering our family.

They have returned multiple times since then. We have refused to comply with their unethical wellness checks and we have received threats from the social worker that they will continue to return. We appreciate your support to relocate and to take legal action against all parties involved.
