Help relocate the last of our pigs
Tax deductible
Celestial Farms, a non-profit rescue farm animal sanctuary in Jacksonville ,FL closed at the end of the year. We’ve been working hard to get the animals all to their new homes. We’ve successfully placed 224 animals! But we are running out of time and funding to get the last of the farm's 21 pigs transported to other sanctuaries. We need your help to get them moved to their new homes.
Up to this point we have tried to limit our transports to within the state because crossing state lines makes each transport very expensive. Not only the mileage, trailer rental, gas, but also appropriate exams, lab work, and vaccines and also the required paperwork to cross state lines. To further complicate things, each state has its own requirements for agricultural checkpoints.
Recovery Rescues, Inc. has committed to taking four pigs if we can get them there.
Permaculture in Paradise is willing to take the remainder of our pigs if we can get them fully vetted and transport them.
We know it’s a lot to ask but for transport, veterinary care, updated health certificates for them all, and feed bills up until they are relocated, we estimate we will need $8,000. If we aren’t able to raise the entire amount we will use what is donated to transport the ones that we can and hopefully some of the others will get adopted. Should we, by some miracle, surpass our fundraising goal for the pigs, any remaining money will go towards supporting the rescues that have taken in our other animals.
Please help. Even a small amount helps ❤️❤️ Thank you!
