About Celestial Farms

We began in 2000, with a mission to aid people of all abilities to garden. In 2008, the mission was expanded to include all aspects of farming. Our organization enriches the whole community by demonstrating the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual benefits of Agricultural Therapy. We will teach the young and the old, the disabled and the able-bodied alike through working, playing and interacting with various animals and gardens. We will enable all of the community to have access to the rewards of farming. We will rescue animals or to avoid mistreatment teach healthy and humane habits. Celestial Farms grows healthy nurturing children by demonstrating the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual benefits of farming. By caring for animals, children will learn about unconditional love. In the gardens, children will learn how to be self-reliant and how to work as a team. Most importantly, children will learn healthy eating habits and where their food comes from.
