American Legion Post 434 is the 4th largest American Legion Post in the state of California serving the Chula Vista  community. Founded in 1941, we've been a veteran's service organization committed to mentoring and sponsorship of youth programs in our community, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting a strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
As you are all aware, the pandemic has hit every business industry hard, with bars and restaurants  being hit the hardest. Our Non Profit has been no exception because of the fact that selling food and alcohol is our steady revenue which makes it possible to keep the lights on to further host our fundraising and veteran support efforts.
The second lockdown ordered by our California governor is sinking us to the point of drowning. Although we have not been operational, there are still bills, licensing and taxes that need to be paid. Those expenses don't stop just because the income does.
No matter how big or small, any donation helps us continue our mission of serving our service members, veterans and their  families. If you are not in a position to donate at this time, we'd appreciate it tremendously if you share our fundraiser with your families and friends.
