Relief Fund for The Picnic Basket Employees

Since 1980 The Picnic Basket has been serving up sandwiches and more from the corner of Milwaukee Ave and Cook St in downtown Libertyville. We've been so fortunate to have the extremely dedicated, hard-working, and resilient team that has grown to become family. Some Picnic Basket employees have been with us since the very beginning and most of them for at least 20 years. When we take a second to reflect on the community we've cultivated, we know that none of this would have been possible without the dedication of the outstanding kitchen/restaurant staff. 


Now during this difficult time, we ask for the help of our community to support the team that has provided us, our friends/neighbors, and the town of Libertyville with so much joy. Please consider supporting the Employee Relief Fund for the staff of The Picnic Basket. 


If you've ever enjoyed a Munster of the Midway made by Angela, had lunch served with a smile from Susana, or had a flawless wedding catered by Ivan's Team, please consider helping out today. All donations will be evenly distributed to the dishwashers, cooks, and kitchen staff. 

We've been through a lot together with 40 years worth of moments, memories, parties, and an endless number of sandwiches, and we're confident that with the support of our motivated community, we will all get through this too.
