Our Story – Why We Need Your Help

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful ones.

Over the past year, we’ve been doing everything we can to stay afloat — juggling unstable work, my own struggles with ongoing illness, and trying to make ends meet however we can. Every time we’ve gotten close to catching up, something else has hit us.

Now, Dave is facing kidney surgery. It’s serious, and after the procedure, he won’t be able to work for a while. He’s self-employed, so if he can’t work, there’s no income. We don’t have sick pay, and our savings are already gone — eaten up by months of unstable work and rising bills. We’re in debt, and the weight of it is growing heavier every day.

We’ve been trying so hard to manage, to stay strong, to keep going — but we’ve hit the point where we can’t do this alone anymore.

The credit cards we’ve relied on to survive

Rent, food, and essentials while Dave recovers

A bit of breathing room to stop us from falling apart
