We are the West family. We are a hardworking couple with two bright and energetic kids.

Why I'm fundraising

We have been working tirelessly to get ahead, and have unfortunately encountered many setbacks. My husband lost his sales job earlier this year. The continually hard work without making ends meet has been hard on our family and our mental health.

We have fallen behind on bills and although we have utilized community resources, we have had to rely on credit. My husband is training to become a bus driver but will not get paid until the end of December. He is doing Uber on the side, which has required an expensive weekly car rental and many hours of work in addition to his daytime job. Meanwhile, I have taken on many more hours in my job as a forest preschool instructor. We are both trying our best to provide and parent our two kiddos, one if which requires a very high parenting demand due to multiple mental and neurological health diagnoses.

We have both been working tirelessly but need help to get through the holiday season and make ends meet for the next couple of months before my husband gets more regular paychecks.

The impact of your support

We would use any funds raised to help pay some bills for the next month or so and to buy a few Christmas presents for our kiddos.

The support would take a great deal of stress and anxiety off of our family, which can help us maintain our mental health to keep working hard. Thank you so much for considering a donation on our behalf.
