Relief for Texas Flood victims

My name is Rita Chase, and together with the help and support of our SWFL community, I am organizing an effort through my group, SWFL Friends Support Asheville, to support the victims of the recent floods in Kerrville, Texas. The devastation has left many families in urgent need of basic supplies and financial assistance. We are collecting monetary donations to help cover the cost of renting a truck, gathering donated items, and delivering them directly to those affected. In addition, the remainder of the funds will be given directly to families in need to help them recover and rebuild.

I plan to make the trip to Kerrville on July 24-27, bringing non-perishable food, water, first aid supplies, baby formula, diapers and wipes, toiletries, hygiene products, batteries, fans, and bedding. These items are critical for families who have lost so much and are struggling to meet their daily needs. With the support of SWFL Friends Support Asheville, we are committed to making a direct impact and ensuring that every donation reaches those who need it most.
