Sometimes in life, unexpected, traumatic, and devastating things happen that affect us directly or indirectly. As a community, when life hands us lemons, we all know what to do. As many of you already know, our dear friend Jose Vega has been deported. Seeing a father and husband being ripped away from his family in this manner holds a level of unbearable emotion that is nothing short of heartbreaking, to say the very least.

Jose Vega is a member of our tight-knit billiard community. As an APA & BPL member, as well as a participant in tournaments ranging throughout the tri-state area, Jose Vega always showed up with a smile on his face. His passion for the game that we love so much shined through every door that he ever walked through. He might be the nicest, most loving, and caring person that I ever met.

As a community, I've seen what we can do when we come together to help one of our own. Money obviously isn't everything, and I can't imagine what Jose's family is going through right now without him. Let's show our unwavering support and get Jose's family at least some relief that they desperately deserve in these trying times.
