I am little Dexter's "mam" and Xander's mom. Our little Christmas miracle was supposed to arrive on April Fool's Day, but he surprised his proud parents, Xander (Pierre) Van Heel and Lily Johnston, by arriving 3 months early. Dexter Lee Davis Pierre is currently doing amazingly well, but will be in the NICU for an unknown amount of time. Lily will be staying with him and no longer working, while X will return to work in about a week. The expense of traveling 80 miles to see his baby and fiance will add up quickly, as will buying food while away from home. There are also the day-to-day expenses and bills. I am asking for those who can to help relieve some of the financial stress for this young couple. The stress of being first-time parents is already a lot; first-time parents of a NICU preemie are overwhelming. We appreciate anything and everything - prayers, shares, and financial support are all needed at this time.
