This fundraiser is to help my sister-in-law and her two children. She was recently a victim of burglary at her apartment that she lives in with her babies. And just when we thought nothing could get any worse, she found out that the next morning her only vehicle she relies on transportation for her family was impounded. She has been struggling financially to cover for herbills and rent because she is one of the unfortunate citizens that is still waiting for unemployment to go through. She constantly calls UI every morning waiting for assistance and still no response. The only thing that we are thankful for at this time is that she has been receiving food assistance. Our family is doing the best we can to help her financially but there’s only so much all of us can do, since we are all struggling financially due to the pandemic. 

Cheyenne is a strong beautiful mother who always tries to do what’s best for her children. The father of her children is currently living separately, but is working hard to help get the family back on their feet. He has been going to school to get his real estate license in hopes that this can be the step into their new life in Las Vegas for their beautiful family. They moved to Nevada from California for a better life, but could never catch a break. They work hard together for the sake of the children’s future and then COVID hit our country. Since they moved to Nevada mid year UI has been giving them both ahard time processing their claims to receive UIbenefits. This then became a domino effect on them due to the financial struggle. The state ofNevada is only allowing rental protection untilthe end of August and they fear for what will happen with their living situation. 

We understand everyone is going through a lot themselves with their own families, but anything helps.
