On Tuesday, April 21, a devastating fire destroyed the building located at 660 E 187th Street in the Bronx—home to my father, younger brother, and my sister along with her three children. In the midst of this tragedy, we are incredibly grateful that her children were safely at school and that the adults were at work when the fire occurred.

Unfortunately, they have lost everything and are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from nothing. This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our family.
