Relief Bags for Special Needs Adults

My name is Collin Smith. I am 16 years old and a junior at Howell High School. For me, getting back into the routine of school is very refreshing, as even though there are new rules and restrictions due to COVID-19, I have at least some of my regular life back. However, some people, such as my autistic 21-year-old brother, Brandon, aren't as lucky as I am.
I want to do as much as possible to relieve both the special needs adults in my area and to relieve their parents by keeping their children occupied. Special needs adults rely on schooling and programs for exercise, entertainment, and education, and it seems that close to none of them have been given authority to fully open yet. Not only do programs give routine to the lives of these adults, but they help relieve the parents who can work without worry of taking care of their challenged children.
I will be using 100% of your generous donations to make "relief bags" with gift cards, fun activities and sensory stimulating toys to keep them occupied and entertained. These bags will be filled by some special needs adults along with volunteers. Most parents of this population have run out of resources for keeping their children busy after over six months of being quarantined, and I'm sure that a surprise full of activities will be both fun for the children and relieving for the parents.
My brother, Brandon, has autism. Along with countless special needs adults from my region alone, he does not have a day program that he can attend due to COVID-19. Brandon has had some kind of routine daily since he was three years old, through different levels of schooling, camps, programs, and more. It breaks my heart when we have to try to explain to him why he can't go back to his normal life, knowing he can't process the full magnitude of the effect a global pandemic has on our livelihood.
